Accomplishments
• Executed full-time online CoVID education program for 43 weeks from January until October, for a total of 1720 hours of CoVID education with open availability to answer questions from anyone in an approachable friendly conversational manner based on the latest knowledge and recommendations
• Ensured anyone we could reach had resources to access and ask questions by which to increase understanding of the best CoVID, CoVID protective measures, and CoVID vaccination knowledge available based on gold-standard science and medicine sources to anyone (Johns Hopkins, Mayo, WHO, Stanford, UCSF, Georgia Tech, University of Michigan, Montefiore Clinic, PubMed, and Cochrane Database)
• Applied for and received first government grant from state of California
• Applied for and received first corporate donation from Home Depot in Garden Grove, CA
• Prioritized care of staff, volunteers, presenters, and partners who assisted our building Delta who experienced difficulties during CoVID
• Ran one public science astronomy event where we could ensure everyone’s safety with distancing and masking where we set up a telescope in order to show Comet NEO to anyone who wanted to witness this beautiful event. Saturn and Jupiter were also shining brightly that night.
